Toy Drive Organizer
Spearhead a toy drive for three years, going on four, through a community news publication I work with to help raise toys for various organizations in the Valley. Incorporated a box decorating contest to help get everyone in the holiday spirit. Winners get a prize. Organized, delivered boxes, ran social media campaign/contest, created a QR code which was proven very successful. Picked up the boxes and volunteered at event organizing and setting up the toys for parents to shop.
Marketing
Still learning! For the awareness campaign I set up TikTok, Instagram and Facebook. To build the foundation, I boosted posts, started to watch what performed well, adjusted things as needed. I am in the very beginning stages and know this might not be a one person operation. Plus, it's pricey.
It is my passion to educate people and team up with other people who want to do the same.
E-commerce
To advocate on social media and reach more people, The Rescue Dog Project campaign has to make money, but how? With a bunch of tutorials and guidance on taxes, an e-commerce site was made. Now I am ordering products, getting samples, have a POS system. As the campaign moves forward, I learn more and more. I was NOT in this to get into e-commerce, I made it to Amazon. Hopefully, one day this revenue stream will support the project, unless I find sponsors.
